These projects are a key part of the energy mix that powers our homes, fuels our businesses, and makes our communities more secure.
But it is under attack by misinformation trying to stop the expansion of all forms of reliable energy production. Together, we can fight back and show that there’s significant support for solar!

Ohio is facing an energy crisis with demand significantly outpacing supply. Solar projects generate much-needed homegrown energy to help meet this demand, increase Ohio’s energy independence, and strengthen our power grid.
The direct economic benefits of a solar project also present a huge opportunity. Solar projects invest tens of millions of dollars into local economies and create hundreds of construction jobs. The tax revenue generated from a solar project can support schools, emergency services and other essential services communities rely on.
Additionally, it gives farmers who voluntarily choose to lease their land for solar the freedom to keep their land for future generations when they otherwise may not have been able to. And farmers and landowners should be free to use their land as they choose – including generating clean energy that benefits the local community.
